In partnership with Opus Northwest, Mile High Development co-developed
the new 500,000 square foot government/office/retail complex in
Lakewood, Colorado, known as Lakewood City Commons. This mixed use
public-private partnership includes a City of Lakewood performing
arts center; 150,000 square foot Lakewood City Hall; a library for
Jefferson County; and 310,000 square feet of privately owned retail
space that includes a King Soopers, Old Navy, Ross Dress for Less,
and others. Lakewood City Commons opened in June 2000.
